Hi stranger,

the fuel pump looks like those used for gasoline engines.
Probably I'm wrong, but in my experience these kind of pumps are diaphragm pumps and all of the fuel pumps I ever saw build as diaphragm pumps are used for gasoline. Those used for Diesel are piston pumps or vane pumps. And this is because you have to act on the assumption that diesel gets hard if the temperatures gets down. Are you sure, you drive a Diesel?
Sorry for that provocative question.

The easiest way to get rid of those problems is to add some diesel and/or some gasoline to your Bio Diesel.

In fact the other way would be to ad a heater to your fuel system, but also you have to mount a second tank. One for diesel for the warm up period and the other for veggie oil when the engine is at operating temperature.
There are multiple starting points. One is the "Eckes WT" or "Eckes Wärmetauscher" you can search for.
The other is probably to mount an engine block heater, but I think this is too expensive.

Best regards

Waldi
